I have been fascinated by caprimulgids since my interest in birds ignited, being fortunate to have had the opportunity to study these remarkable birds since 2019. My research primarily focuses on the behaviour and, in particular, the acoustic and visual signalling of the European Nightjar (Caprimulgus europaeus). Currently, for my PhD project, I am investigating the impact of astronomical light pollution on bird communication at night, using the Nightjar as a model organism.
